Abstract

260,842. Richardson, H. March 19, 1926. Joints.-In a bedstead corner joint of the kind comprising a bracket 13, 14 and locking means such as headed studs 22, 23 on the vertical web of the side rail 21 which engage inclined slots 15, 16 in the part 14, and thus wedge the end of the side rail against the member 13 and also prevent sideways displacement of the rail 21, the second pair of locking elements 23, 16 are spaced both laterally and vertically from the first pair of locking elements 22, 15. The slots and studs at the two ends of the bedstead are so arranged that the side rail can be connected to the brackets in both the upright and the inverted positions. Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.
