Abstract

183,350. Staunton, P. M. July 11, 1921. Spring wheels.-The wheel centre is formed of a metal ring B which is slotted or perforated transversely as shown at C. The slots may be arranged substantially tangential to the central opening as shown in Fig. 1 and may be open or closed at their inner ends. The centre may be threaded on to the axle or hub and held by a nut, or it may be formed with serrations or ribs as in Fig. 3 and forced on the hub. Specification 134,961 is referred to.
