Abstract

182,604. BilbÚ, H. S. April 26, 1921. Rims.-A wheel rim is formed of rolled or pressed &c. metal with a thickened central part a<5>, where the spokes are affixed, of laminated form, and flat parallel sides a<1>, the overall width of the rim being such that brakes having a calliper action may be readily removed. Figs. 2 and 7 show a rim suitable for wired-on or straight-sides tyres; Fig. 14 shows a typical rim for use with beaded-edge tyres; and Fig. 21 a form of rim arranged for single-tube tyres.
