235,041. Wagenhorst, J. H. Aug. 8, 1924. Detachable-rim attachments to wheels. - A detachable rim B is mounted so as to seat on the outer limb A<2> only of the fixed channel rim A. The latter may be formed with a coned seat A<4>. Fig. 3, or a cylindrical seat A<5>, Fig. 5, and the corresponding part of the detachable rim may be formed by a rolled or solid bead. In the. form shown in Fig. 3, the attachment bolts D are passed through clamps C having inclined lugs riveted to the rim B. In the modification shown in Fig. 5, the limb A<2> of the fixed rim is recessed to accommodate detachable clamps G.
