341,215. Disc wheels. NICHOLS, H., 62, West 102nd Street, New York, U.S.A. Nov. 28, 1929, No. 36461. [Class 144 (i).] A disc wheel comprises an off-set portion 12 provided with cupped openings to receive the coned nuts 34 of the attachment bolts 30, the spoke-arms 14 being formed with shoulders 18 to seat lugs 22 on the detachable tyre-retaining flange 21. In the wheel shown, the rim-bed 19 and the fixed flange 20 are formed integral with the disc 14. In a modification, the flange 20 is formed on a separate wheel flange which is welded to the front disc 14 and to a separately-formed rim-bed.
