Transformers. - Long insulating-sleeves for transformer windings and the like comprise several coaxial sections a, b, which are telescoped out to give the required length. The sleeves are made by winding a strip or band of paper coated with natural or artificial resin, layers free from resin being inserted at intervals to form subdividing layers between the coaxially arranged sections, which are then displaced axially to produce a sleeve of the desired length. Specification 101,861 is referred to.
