[Class 38 (ii).] Relates to voltage transformers for use on high-tension circuits in which the high-tension winding is arranged on an insulating spool and the connection to the high - voltage line is brought out from the inner layer of the winding as described in the parent Specification, and consists in forming the spool in two singleflanged parts 110, 111 inversely telescoped together, thus enabling the winding to be built up from a series of former wound coils 112, 113, 114 that are slipped over the outer spool part before the inner one is placed in position. The two spool parts are then cemented or otherwise secured together, screw-thread or similar formations being provided on their adjacent surfaces to assist in locking.
