308,797. Siemens - Schuckertwerke Akt.-Ges. March 28, 1928, [Convention date]. Transformers. - Relates to ring-type current transformers in which the primary winding is in the form of a straight conductor 3 passing through the ring core 1 carrying the secondary winding 2, and through an insulator both ends of which are located in air, e.g. an insulating bushing for a wall or partition, and consists in making the insulator in two parts, one having an enlargement 5 dimensioned to prevent glow discharge and an extension 6 small enough to be passed through the transformer aperture, the other part 7 also being dimensioned to prevent glow discharge and adapted to be slipped over the extension 6 and cemented thereto with the wound core of the transformer in position.
