170,610. Mitchell, T. A., Hill, J. N., and Kriegel, J. E. April 27, 1920. Vehicle lamps.-In a vehicular head lamp, the upper part of the lamp is formed by three or more parabolic reflectors or mirrors a, b, c &c. with a common focus x merging one into the other to form a continuous curved reflector, the front part f being formed as a hood or deflector. The lower part is formed as a hemispherical reflector g and a body part i to support the lower part of the glass front fitting the opening k or vertically as at l. In a modification, the lower reflector is of elliptical, parabolic or hemispherical shape, and the source of light is placed below the focus x, and a second reflector may be placed behind the light bulb or above the bulb and just in front of the part a of the top reflector.
