Vacuum tubes.-A thermionic valve electrode D, such as a filament, for use with large currents, has two or more leading-in conductors A in parallel, each sealed separately in a silica bulb. The conductors have flattened ends forming a pinched joint J with the electrodes, and crossconnections a may be arranged between the conductors to equalize the current.
