Abstract
170,097. Macrorie, A. K., Airey, H. Morris-, Shearing, G., and Mullard, S. R. July 10, 1920. Vacuum tubes.-A thermionic valve electrode D, such as a filament, for use with large currents, has two or more leading-in conductors A in parallel, each sealed separately in a silica bulb. The conductors have flattened ends forming a pinched joint J with the electrodes, and crossconnections a may be arranged between the conductors to equalize the current. A third sealed-in conductor A' may be connected with one of the other conductors. Specifications 170,096 and 170,634 are referred to.
