Casting - machines; metalpouring. - In a melting- furnace 1 having ingot moulds carried by a revolving annular gallery 2 surrounding it, and having a spout adapted to deliver the molten metal to these moulds or over them to a ladle, stereotype casting box &c., the spout 3 is provided with a hinged channel member 4 which when turned down, carries the metal over the moulds, the end 6 engaging under the stationary part of the spout. In the position shown, metal is supplied to the moulds.
