Discharging.-Casting-machines for ingots, particularly of the kind having an annular gallery encircling the furnace 4 and supporting removable moulds, are provided with a spout adapted to deliver molten metal along the length of the mould to enable long narrow ingots to be cast. The spout 1 may be fan shaped or branched as shown at 2.
