Abstract

276,255. Geissler, F. March 7, 1927. Moulds.-Metal is poured into an ingot mould g through a channel e which enters an annular nozzle f tangentially. A number of channels e &c. may be fed from one funnel a and a mould g, with a lined head k, is arranged concentrically over each nozzle. Both ends of the cast ingots are cropped after cooling.
