Abstract
339,017. Ferric Engineering Co., (Assignees of Carrington, F. G.). Nov. 7, 1928, [Convention date]. Metal - pouring.- A trough for depositing metal helically ing a centrifugal mould is shaped so that the falling stream is deeper than it is broad. The trough 13, which may be of steel or other suitable refractory material, has a liner 14 of steel, cast iron, fireclay &c. and a spout 15 of similar material. The spout has a bottom 18, which slopes down more rapidly than the trough and ends in a slot 19, and sides 21 which at first close in and then widen at 22.
