392,390. Casting-machines. MAIRY, E., 12, Rue Denis Lecoq, Angleur, Belgium. Aug. 2, 1932, No. 21625. Convention date, Aug. 4, 1931. [Class 83 (i).] Mould materials.-Unhardened iron articles are cast in a centrifugal metal mould lined with, or with a substance containing, metallic aluminium. A mixture comprising graphite, 3-10 per cent of aluminium, and 40 to 80 per cent of powdered iron or steel may be used. The iron and aluminium may be mixed and heated to 400‹-600‹ C., away from air, to make them adhere. Metal pouring.-The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also casting in a mould lined with any material having an energetic action with the metal cast and a runner provided with a cover to keep out any loose lining material. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
