Abstract
155,602. British Thomson - Houston Co., (General Electric Co.). Sept. 11, 1918. Wireless telegraphy and telephony; electric oscillations, producing.-In a method of controlling the amount of energy supplied to the loopcircuit 5, 6 by a valve generator 1, an adjustable point 17 in the inductance 5 is connected to the plate circuit of a second valve 14, the cathode 16 of which is connected to the cathode 2 of the valve 1. A microphone 21 varies the potential of the grid of valve 14 and consequently the resistance in the circuit 8, 7, 10, 9, 5, 17, 15, 16, 18 which supplies energy to the loop circuit. The potential of grid 4 of the valve 1 is determined by a battery 11. Specifications 101,415 and 107,001 are referred to.
