Bedsteads convertible into seats; rests, leg; seats combined with garment rails.-A vehicle seat, convertible into a couch, comprises a back 16, pivoted at 18, and carrying brackets 22 which are engaged by the pivoted foot-rest 23 when the back is lowered. The brackets 22 may carry a garment rail 21, and the back 16 may be provided with a ledge 19 to support the cushion 20 when the seat has been converted into a couch. A folding foot and leg rest, normally housed beneath the cushion 20, may be provided, comprising pivoted frames 27, 28 carrying flexible material 29.
