Bedsteads convertible into seats &c. -In a chair or settee convertible into a bed, the seat consists of two parts E, F, hinged together at E<1> and so arranged that it can be slid forwards and the upper part E turned back to occupy the portion originally occupied by the lower part F. The back A is hinged at Z to an upright Y. Stops H, and hook fastenings C are provided. According to the Provisional Specification, the two parts E, F need not be hinged together.
