174,061. Pascaud, J. L. A. Jan. 11, 1921, [Convention date]. Surgical seats; adjustments; leg and arm rests.-In an adjustable reclining-chair of the type comprising a base A, seat B, back D and leg-rest C, mutually adjustable relatively to each other, the base has a transverse notch 2 and the superstructure may be slid along the sides 1 until the rear edge of the seat engages this notch, the whole then being practically in equilibrium. Racks 5, 7, 13, together with pins 11, 15 may be provided for securing the parts in adjusted position. The arm-rests b may be hinged to turn outwardly, and an adjustable belancing weight may be provided if necessary.
