364,078. Seats convertible into beds. TOUMAYEFF, R., Alpes Maritimes, France. June 26, 1930,No.-19503. Convention date, Sept. 28, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 52 (ii).] A seat, convertible into a couch or bed, comprises a seat member 1 pivoted at 6 to floor brackets 7 and at 17 to a back 11 carrying a slidable upholstered back frame 14. A curved bar 20 is pivoted at 21 to the seat, and is connected to the back 11 by a link 22. When in use as a seat, the member 1 is carried, at the rear, by supports 8. When the back is lowered, the nose 30 on the bar 20 engages a transversely movable wedge 27 by which the tilt may be adjusted and limited.
