Crank shafts.-An engine having two or more cylinders arranged at an acute angle to each other is provided with a crank-shaft formed with a pair or pairs of connected crank-pins E, F relatively offset so as to lie simultaneously in the axial lines of the cylinders to secure syncronism of power impulses. The pairs of cylinders are preferably cast in one piece. Fig. 5 shows a crank-shaft having three pairs of connected crank-pins R, S, T.
