Abstract

127,942. Clarkson, T. June 3, 1918. Casings; frames.-A motor for a road vehicle, such as r. tandem-cylinder internal-combustion or compound steam-engine with groups of cylinders inclined to one another, as described in Specification 127,941, is provided with lateral projections the outer ends of which form bearings engaging inwardly-directed trunnions secured to the side frames of the vehicle. The rear end of the motor is held centrally by a removable pin G secured to a cross-beam. In the engine described in the above-mentioned Specification, frames A, secured between the cylinders and the crank casing, are provided with projections B having bearings B' which engage the trunnions E.
