Abstract

Valves. actuated automatically and intermittently. - A valve device for automatically and intermittingly opening a gas valve supplying a burner is provided with an external adjustment whereby the duration of the light period may be varied. The spring-loaded diaphragm 4 acts through a spring tumbler 7 to rock a lever 6. The lever carries the main valve 3 for controlling the primary inlet passage which is regulated by a valve 2, an outlet valve 9 and a second inlet valve 10 controlling a secondary supply passage 12. This passage is regulated by a valve 20 to vary the light period.
