Valves actuated indirectly. - In a burner for gas cookers and the like in which a spring- controlled gas valve 4 is opened by the weight of the object to be heated, the gas supply and the internal air supply are simultaneously regulated by means of hit- and miss disk-shaped regulators 9, 11 operated by a handle 15 and arranged together with the valve spindle 5 of the valve 4 concentrically with the burner tube, the regulator being within the burner.
