Abstract
4920. Aktiebolaget Lux. Feb. 27, 1913, [Convention date]. Actuating.-Relates to a valve for controlling the gas supply to a burner to give flashes of periodically varying frequency. The valve plate 8 is rocked to close the inlet 6 and open the outlet 7 when the pressure of the gas in the chamber 4 rises sufficiently to move the diaphragm 2 against the pressure of the air in the chamber 5 and the spring 3. The frequency is varied by means of a valve disk 13 moved by the pawl 15 to vary the freedom of communication between the chamber 5 and the atmosphere through the pipe 14.
