Abstract

147,497. Reiche (nÚe Rohweder), M. April 28, 1914, [Convention date]. Pivoted-sliding windows.-Two sashes b, c, Figs. 1 and 2, are hinged together at g. When the window is closed both sashes lie in the same plane. The lower sash c is suspended on a pair of rods h. The sashes may be completely reversed as shown in Fig. 2, the guiding pins f of the upper sash passing through the gaps d<1> in the guide groove d. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification, Fig. 3, (Cancelled), in which the top sash b is connected to the bottom sash by swing brackets m. The top sash can be moved to the position shown in Fig. 3 by means of a bell-crank lever n, one arm of which has a pin-and-slot connexion with the sash b and the other is operated by lever r and connecting-rod p. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
