Abstract

7100. Donald, D. March 25. Fanlight opening and closing apparatus.- Fanlights &c. 12 are opened and closed by a link 8 pivoted at one end to a laterally-projecting portion 14 of a bracket 11 secured on the fanlight &c., and at the other end to a sliding rack 1 operated bv a pinion 4 on the shaft of a handle 7. The window is held in any position by a pivoted catch 8<a> engaging the rack 1.
