Abstract

Multiple fastenings for casements or shutters.- The shutter is fastened by a drop-bar 10 bent at its upper end to form a catch 11 and carrying at its lower end a pivoted catch 12, which is released by raising the bar 10. The bar is raised either by a spindle 15 having a cranked end which engages under the lower end of the bar, or by a cordoperated lever 18 engaging the upper end of the bar 10.
