Abstract

124,134. Moyse, S. July 9, 1918 Fastenings for hinged doors and windows.-In window opening, closing, and bolting apparatus for hinged windows, fanlights, &c., spring bolts 17 are carried on a triangle or cross-bar 11 resiliently attached to the window 10 by spring mountings 12 and having cords 13, 14 attached to its ends and to each other as shown. The cords 14 pass over pulleys 15 mounted on the window frame behind and a little above the cross-bar. Fig. 6 shows the apparatus adapted to a window hinged at the top. The cord 20 is attached to the rod 11 and passes over a pulley 21. The cord 22 is attached to a connecting rod 23, one end of which slides in guides 25, while the other is attached to the rod 11.
