1472948 Electro-photographic materials HOECHST AG 15 July 1974 [16 July 1973] 31244/74 Heading G2C An electro-photographic material comprises an electrically conductive support, a first photoconductive layer of Se or Se/Te and a second photo-conductive layer of a binder and a monomeric heterocyclic compound containing at least one dialkylamino group. There may be a barrier layer of a metal oxide or a polymer between the support and the first photo-conductive layer. Specified heterocyclic compounds are 2, 5-bis (4'-diethylaminophenyl)-oxadiazole 1,3,4; 2-phenyl- 4-(2'-chlorophenyl)-5-(4"-diethylaminophenyl)- oxazole and N-ethyl-2,5-bis -(4'-diethylaminophenyl-triazole 1,3,4 admixed with a polyester, a polycarbonate, a silicone or ketone resin, styrene/ butadiene or maleic anhydride copolymer, vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer or one- or twocomponent resin containing isocyanate.
