1430236 Photoplastic recording medium MARCONI CO Ltd 17 April 1973 [7 June 1972] 26451/72 Heading G2C A photo-plastic recording medium includes a layer comprising an organic photo-conductor activated with an electron acceptor and a thermoplastic material the ratio of thermoplastic material to photo-conductor is between 80 and 95 wt per cent, the layer being disposed on a conductive layer. In the specific embodiments, the conductive layer is provided by a layer of vapour deposited metal or oxide or iodide of a metal on glass or polyethylene terephthalate and the photo-conductive layer is a mixture of polyvinyl carbazole, trinitrofluorenone and poly α-methyl styrene. The thermoplastic material may also be copoly styrene-butyl methacrylate.
