1528018 Magnetic recording medium BASF AG 30 Dec 1975 [31 Dec 1974] 53100/75 Heading B2E] A magnetic recording medium comprises a base, e.g. of polyethylene terephthalate, which has at least two layers containing an acicular magnetic material in an organic binder, e.g. Fe 2 O 3 in vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer, the uppermost magnetic layer having a signal to print through ratio less than 55db and the lowermost magnetic layer having a signal to print through ratio of at least 55db.
