Abstract

145,879. Myers, R. W. April 2, 1919. Cores.-The stator slots 3 which receive formerwound coils are closed by a laminated magneto cylinder 5 having teeth 6 registering with the stator teeth 4. The laminµ are held together by glass, enamel, &c. deposited, in the grooves 8 and in an annular depression 11. The cylinder 5 may have end rings 9 provided with circumferential grooves 10 also filled with insulating-material. The inner periphery of the cylinder may be coated with enamel.
