Abstract
633,364. Cores for dynamo-electric machines. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. Feb. 19, 1947, No. 4822. Convention date, Feb. 2, 1944. [Class 35] A stator consists of two annular yokes with half the total number of poles extending axially from the inner periphery of each yoke, the core consisting of flat laminµ transverse to the rotor axis,.and the two yokes being relatively axially movable to release or receive the winding and each being shorter in the axial direction than a pole. As shown, alternate poles extend from the upper yoke 16 over both yokes 15, 16, the remainder of the poles extending upwards from yoke 15 over yoke 16, the coil 9 being arranged as shown. The core may be extended axially to overhang the end portions of the windings, or a central recess may be provided to receive an annular coil as in the usual imbricated pole stators.
