Abstract
905,212. Induction motors. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKRISKA A.B. Oct. 28, 1960 [Oct. 29, 1959], No. 37070/60. Class 35. A stator for an induction motor having a main and an auxiliary winding has core slots shaped and arranged as shown in the Figure to facilitate the winding of the coils in the stator by means of a winding machine. The auxiliary winding coils 6 are located in slots 2 the bottoms of which widen and are at a greater radial distance from the stator axis than the bottoms of the main winding slots 3, 4, 5, there being one slot per pole, each slot accommodating one side of two adjacent coils. The main winding-coils 8, 9-is connected to provide 3 slots/pole; one side of a coil 9 is located in a slot 4 and the other side in a slot 5, i.e. one coil side/slot, and one side of each adjacent coil 8 is located in the same slot 3, i.e. 2 coil sides/slot. The coil ends of the main and auxiliary winding are in the same radial plane separated by insulation extending from the bottom of the main winding slots.
