1449179 Printing apparatus ROLAND OFFSETMASCHINENFABRIK FABER & SCHLIECHER AG 7 Dec 1973 [8 Dec 1972] 56903/73 Heading B6C In an inking or damping system with a messenger roller oscillating between an ink or damping fountain roller and a forme roller the dwell time of the messenger roller at the fountain roller is adjustable by means of two cam discs 4, 5, which can be angularly shifted with respect to each other, the discs being mounted on a driving shaft 13 and driven through differential gearing including a ring gear 15, 10, for each cam and a bevel gear 14 co-operating with the gears 15, 10 and movably mounted on a worm gear segment 16. The relative angular position of the cam discs is adjustable by movement about the driving shaft 13 of the gear 14 by operation of an adjusting spindle 18 coacting with the segment 16.
