1437502 Hold-open hinges in vehicle doors FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 27 Nov 1973 54894/ 73 Heading E2F A vehicle door hinge comprises two hinge parts 10 and 13 'pivoted at 14 and is provided with a U-shaped sheet spring hold-open member which is attached at its base to part 10 and 'has arms 19 resiliently embracing upper and lower surfaces of part 13; formations 22 on the arms engaging part 13 to hold the hinge fully open. A door stop projection 25 prevents any opening movement beyond this fully open position.
