Abstract

1508034 Hinges BLUM GmbH 8 April 1975 [12 April 1974] 14431/75 Heading E2F A snap hinge for furniture doors having an opening angle of 180‹ comprises a tilting assembly 4, a hinge boss 13 on the door and a mounting plate 12 on the furniture side wall which are interconnected by articulations 1', 2' and 3' such that a rocker arm 5, pivotable about an axle 6, is provided with a recess 7 into which a stop part 8 of an articulation snaps in and another recess 11 is provided in the rocker arm 5 in which fits a guide 9 carrying a compression spring. Figs. 1 and 3 illustrate the closed and open positions of the hinge respectively. The tilting assembly 4 may be housed in a plastics casing (Fig. 2, not shown).
