Abstract

1433403 Induction air-conditioning units W PAUL 15 June 1973 [30 Aug 1972] 28490/73 Heading F4V An air-outlet device for an air-conditioning and ventilation plant, includes an elongate pressure chamber 1 having a primary air inlet 5 and a series of air outlet nozzles or a slot 12, and a chamber disposed above the pressure chamber divided by a longitudinal partition 14 into a secondary air feed channel 16 and a mixing chamber 15. In operation of the device, secondary air is induced to flow into the chamber 15 by the primary air passing through the nozzles or the slot. The partition 14 includes an adjustable plate 14b to alter the mixture ratio of primary and secondary air. A flap 21 controls the angle of emission of the air mixture.
