961,809. Air-conditioning. SULZER FRERES S.A. Feb. 21, 1963 [Feb. 28, 1962], No. 7080/63. Heading F4V. [Also in Division F1] In an induction-type air-conditioning apparatus having a distribution box 1 with an inlet 2 and outlet nozzles 5, a silencer 8 of narrow tube forming a honeycomb-like construction is situated immediately upstream of the nozzles. The silencer 8 is supported by brackets welded to the box sides and packings 11 of foam material seal the top edge of the silencer. The primary air flow through the nozzles 5 entrains air from the room and blows it back into the room through conditioning apparatus in which it is cooled, heated or otherwise conditioned.
