Abstract

142,858. Perusseau, F. J. May 6, 1919, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Fixed-abutment type; discharge and suction pipes and passages for pumps &c.-Relates to a pump of the fixed-abutment type with outwardly sliding vanes. The casing 1 is cylindrical and is cast in one piece with suction and discharge chambers 6 and 8 which communicate with the interior of the casing through obliquely disposed ports 5 and 7. The casing is closed by plates 3 and 4, provided with bearings for the shaft 13 which carries the rotor 14. The rotor is mounted eccentrically to the casing, which it touches at the top, and is slotted to receive two mutually perpendicular pairs of diametrically disposed vanes 19 which are pressed outwards into contact with the casing by springs 24.
