1424446 Offshore structures O MO 30 April 1973 [2 May 1972 5 Dec 1972] 20385/73 Heading E1H A concrete offshore platform comprises a monolithic substructure 1 including a plurality of rigidly interconnected vertical cells A, a superstructure 2 formed by at least one vertically elongated cell, each superstructure cell being an integral elongation of a respective substructure cell and being conical in shape over a lower portion thereof, and each superstructure cell also having an upper part normally exposed to wave action and having a cross-sectional area which is substantially less than that of the substructure cell.
