1401563 Roof construction METALLEICHTBAUKOMBINAT VEB 27 Sept 1973 [2 Oct 1972] 45279/73 Heading E1W A roof construction comprises a covering 8 carried by a supporting shell 7 which is secured to a supporting structure which comprises parallel spaced apart top beams 1 and parallel spaced apart bottom beams 2 which are disposed in parallel staggered relationship with the top beams, each beam carrying a bolt 3 on each of which is arranged a plurality of inclined struts 4 which interconnect the top beam with the bottom beam. The inclined struts may have angled connections 5 provided at each end and wedged discs 6 serving as washers may be provided on these angled connections. The shell 7 and the covering 8 may be formed as a prefabricated unit. The top beam component may also be included in such prefabricated unit. The beams and struts may be of open section.
