Elevated floor panels 2 having quadrant corner cut-outs are mounted about cylindrical pins 1 carried by vertically adjustable posts 6, 12, the panels being supported on beams 3 interconnecting the posts or on a plate connected to the post by a ball joint, see Fig. 3 (not shown). The panels may be made of plywood or comprise a ribbed aluminium casting and may be coated with polyvinylchloride 17.
