Abstract

Elevated flooring comprises tubular vertical props 3 open at their upper ends which directly engage vertically disposed flanges 2a of T-section horizontal beams 2 upon which is supported a floor surface 1. The flanges 2a are received in slots in the upper open ends of the props. The floor surface comprises either a number of panels arranged edge to edge or it may be formed in one piece. The props may be vertically adjustable.
