Abstract

1420494 Toy theatres EZAKI GLICO KK and DAI NIPPON PRINTING CO Ltd 22 March 1973 [27 April 1972] 13928/73 Heading A6S [Also in Division B8] The top wall 1 of a toy theatre erected from a blank includes an aperture which is closable by hinged extensions 15, 15' an outer end closure flaps 14, 14' hinged to a bottom wall 12 of the theatre. The free ends of the extensions 15, 15' overlap when the aperture is closed. A front wall 5 or both front and back walls 5 and 6 of the theatre carry inner end closure flaps 9, 9', 10, 10'. The free end of each extension 15, 15' carries one or two tabs 17, 17', 18, 18' which can hook onto the inner end closure flap(s). Pull tabs 21, 21' are cut-out of the outer end flaps 14, 14'. In the embodiment shown the back wall is adhered to a lip hinged directly to the bottom wall 12, and in alternative embodiments Figures 6, 7 and 8, 9 (not shown) an inner back panel (19'), hinged directly to the bottom wall (12), is adhered to the back panel (6) and carries a lip (23) which cooperates with the top wall (1) to define a guide for the extensions (15, 15').
