1417122 Transformers R SATO 23 Nov 1972 [29 Nov 1971] 54273/72 Heading HIT A transformer 20 has primary and secondary windings on a core assembly comprising 4 kinds of cores 23, 25, 27, 29 respectively, all made of seamless rectangular plates having an opening; a pair of cores 25 sandwiching core 23 so that their openings are aligned, two cores 27 having their plates parallel to those of core 23, and two pairs of cores 29 being perpendicular to and abutting cores 27 and the ends of core 23, each winding member 33 comprising limbs 33a, 33b, 33c, 49 extending through cores 23 and 25 one core 27 and one pair of cores 29, which fill the opening defined by the limbs. Terminals 51 are provided.
