Abstract
139,650. Showell & Sons, E., and Johnson, A. E. April 4, 1919. Cupboard turns.-A casemert fastener is constructed with the attachment plate for the combined handle and catch c in two parts, an inner plate b and a front plate a having a staple-like part at its middle. The two parts are secured together and attached to the frame e by screws f, whilst the screw g passing through the middle of the plates a, b acts as a pivot. A washer d is either soldered to or in one p ece with the plate b. In a modified arrangement, the part b has an outwardly projecting bush en the edge of the hole, through which the screw g is passed, and the corresponding hole in the part a is made with an inwardly projecting bush, the two bushes together constituting the pivot. Instead of employing a wood-screw g, the tubular bush of b may be internally screwed for the reception of a screw pin.
