Abstract

236,055. Parkes, S. R. July 29, 1924. Knobs, attaching.-A door handle is rotatably attached to a finger-plate by a separate tubular member passing through the plate having a washer at the inner side and the cup for receiving the handle at the other. Fig. 1 shows a tubular member 18 passing through the finger-plate 20 and having a washer 21 secured by the spun-over edge 19. The cup 16 for receiving the handle 22 is at the other side of the plate and carries a second washer 17, the member 18 having projections 23 punched up to secure the parts together. The washer 17 may be dispensed with as in Fig.. 4. The cup 16 may form part of the handle.
