Knockers.-A means for attaching metal and other fittings such as knockers to doors &c., comprises an internally-screwed tube a which at one end has an externally-threaded projection for connexion with the article d to be fastened, and at the other end receives a separate headed fixing-screw e. The head of the screw may bear on a washer g, and its shank enters the tube a to a greater or less extent according to the thickness of the door &c. b.
